Have you picked a pumpkin yet? Do you like to make your pumpkin desserts from scratch? You've gotta check out this farm where you can pick your own pumpkins (as many as you want) for $1.00 each.
Head West on Rt. 16 heading out of Waynesboro towards Greencastle.
Go through Shady Grove.
You'll pass Grove Manufacturing.
Right before you get to the light at Grindstone Hill Road you'll see several fields filled with pumpkins on your RIGHT and a sign that says "Pumpkins $1"
Just pull over to the side of the road or pull into the field and pick as many pumpkins as you want (weight of the pumpkin doesn't matter).
Have fun!

There is also a good place on Hess Benidict Rd. in Quincy. They have pumpkins for $1 each, apples for $5 a 1/2 bushel, fall squash for $0.70 each, honey and apple cider. We went last week and got a lot of goodies. Take N. Church St. toward Quincy. Pass Arturo's Pizza on the right and the road to the left is Hess Benedict Rd. The farm is about 1 mile back on the right.
