CVS Deals

I finally stopped watching the Kmart deals to check out CVS, and there are some wonderful deals this week...especially if you're just starting out.
My favorite is the Bayer Contour Meter--Buy one at $14.99, get $5 ECB (CVS Cash).
Use the $30/1 from the 10/25 RP (the cashier will need to adjust this down)
You'll pay $0 and get back $5 ECB!
Also be sure to scan your card when you go in the store.  You can scan more than once and get different coupons, but it will stop after so many :)   Right now it's giving $1 off of any CVS skin care and $1 off of any CVS paper product.
I went last night and used those on the trial size of cocoa butter (it's in a travel section with the feminine products) and then a single roll of paper towels that were $1.29.

These are a few deals that Hip 2 Save has highlighted!  Stop by her site and click on CVS in the right hand column for more!

Skintimate Shave Cream $3.99 = $3Ecb
Use the $2/1 coupon from the April issue of Cosmo Magazine
Final cost FREE + a $1.01 moneymaker!

Reese’s Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups $0.50
Use the $0.55/1 coupon from the 3/14 SS
Final cost FREE!

Dawn Hand Renewal $0.96
Use the $1/1 coupon from the Home Made Simple coupon booklet
Final cost FREE!

CVS Green Essentials Paper Towels Roll or CVS single roll toilet paper for $1.15 to $1.29
Use the $1/1 CVS Brand Paper Product Coupon that may print out of the magic coupon machine
Final cost $0.15 to $0.29!

Spend $15 on John Frieda products = $5 Ecb (limit 1)
Deal Scenario:
Buy 3 John Frieda Collection Shampoo & Conditioners $4.99 each
Total = $14.97
Use 3 $3/1 coupons from the 3/7 SS
Pay $5.97
Get back a $5 Ecb
Final cost ONLY $0.97 for all 3!
**Note: The total of $14.97 is $0.03 short of $15, however, it has been confirmed that it will still produce the $5 Extra Care buck even though it’s less!

That John Frieda deal looks like something I might need to do, despite the fact that I do NOT need more shampoo. But I have lots of cheap shampoo. It would be nice to get something "Fancy." I got a sample once of the John Frieda stuff and liked it!
