A lot of your probably know this, but there is a Drive-In Theater located in Newville, PA (near Shippensburg). I didn't realize it was open again this summer, so I'm excited to see that it is!
The prices are $7 adults (over 12)
$3 kids 3-12 (under 3 are free)
BUT--you get two shows for this price! This weekend is the new Cats and Dogs movie and Despicable Me....both movies we want to see!

My family loves the drive in at Newville! We always pack a cooler with all of our drinks and snacks. They do have a snack shack there that is reasonably priced, but the lines are usually long. The first movie starts around 9:00 (when it gets dark), so if you stay for both movies it makes for a late night (especially for little ones). We like to go early so that we can pick a good parking spot. They have a playground there for the little ones to play on and bigger kids always have footballs or soccer balls. We take my husband's truck and throw lots of blankets in the back for when the movie starts. It does get chilly up there on some nights. You'll also want to take a battery powered radio so that you can hear the movie. We went with friends once who just left their car radio on and then they were left with a dead battery. They do rent radios for $2 if you don't have one or if you forget yours. You will have to leave your driver's lic. with them until you return the radio. Hope this helps!
