Food Lion Not Stacking Coupons?

I have no idea what is going on, but apparently Food Lion in Waynesboro has decided to stop allowing you to use a manufacturer coupon with a store coupon on the same item.  I have been doing this for a very long time without a problem--until this week.  I also got two emails about it happening to others. 

I was told that it has always been this way, but that isn't so.  

Anyhow, heads up that you will most likely not be able to do this in Waynesboro any longer, although I'd still try.  

I had a mailer once that included some FL store coupons.  At the bottom it said something along the lines of "maximize your savings by combining these FL coupons with manufacturer coupons".  I sure wish I had saved that!
