I just have to say that after this past week, Martin's and Giant are at the top of my list for customer-friendly stores! I'm a bit ashamed to say how many transactions I did this week (although i'm sure some of you could beat me!). I did not have ONE problem at all!! Not one!!
The cashiers knew how to use the coupons (I was afraid stacking the Fuel for School Q's would turn into a mess), they were more than happy to do multiple transactions, and everything went through smoothly. I was also impressed that most of the stores were very well stocked!
I even had a store manager bagging my groceries at one point and he was so friendly--even seemed happy that I was getting such good deals!
Did everyone else have good experiences at Martin's and Giant?

I had an awesome experience today! I was passing the express cashier who prompted me to come through. I told him I had 3 transactions and he asked if this was that "cereal deal?" He told me 3 transactions of 10 was allowed..LOL. He was excited to see Nutri-grain bars were included and planned to buy them himself. My first catalina did not print, he went to customer service and said, no problem, just go there when we're through and they'll take care of you. My last catalina printed and when I went to customer service, they gave me $20 cash. I have been shopping regularly at the Hagerstown Martin's and I love it. They are always great!
I had a great trip to the Martin's in Hagerstown this week! When school starts, I think I'll make that my regular grocery store. Then I can hit FL, CVS and Weis in the same trip!
The Martin's in Waynesboro exceeded my expectation. I was a little hesitant at first to do so many transactions, but they accomodated me easily. THen I went back this morning and one of the stock boys went on an Eggo search in the back of the store and gave me the only case. They were wonderful.
What a super week for stocking up! I went to two different stores (both in Chambersburg) this week and did several transactions each time. Once I even took my stuff to the car and went back in for more! Every cashier and bagger was super. I got several compliments for "knowing how to shop." I din't get any waffles because our freezer is full :-( But I now have a super supply of cereal, pop tarts, Cheez-its, rice krispie treats, crackers & cookies! I had a great experience at the Giant in Chambersburg. I got a kick out of watching cashiers' faces when they told me I only owed cents for things! Almost all of the cashiers were so impressed with how well I was doing. 2 different onces thanked me for helping them and told me that they were going shopping as soon as their shift ended. I know now 2 cashiers by name and they recognized me when I came on different days. :) The Giant in Chambersburg didn't even show any sign of people shopping the same deal until Saturday afternoon. They did a great job of stocking everything!
Adam has been away all week fishing- boy is he in for a surprise when he gets home! I think I've used every stock spot we have available. We will have very little need for breakfast or snack/lunches for a very long time! Thanks once again for the heads up because I originally overlooked this deal!
I went to the Martin's in W-boro and Giant in C-burg and had excellent experiences. I just couldn't believe the sale - since I've only been doing this hard core for a little over 3 months, I'm wondering is this unusual or have you experienced Q ladies seen sales like this before??
Hey Megan! Sales like this come around every so often! Were you couponing when Food Lion did the Cheese It's deal? Pretty much the same thing--we were walking away with free crackers! Hopefully we can find a good deal on something other than breakfast foods soon!
I got a few transactions in too and they were very nice at the Martins, I have to agree it was a great deal!
