I need some ideas for frugal/free things to do in the area for fun! We usually just drive around and look at lights, and one year we went to Hershey (which isn't too frugal!), but this year I need some new ideas.
What events or attractions do you know of? Maybe church programs, light displays, or other deals. Leave a comment!

Make cocoa and play games, bake cookies, fill a goodie bag of "freebies" and leave on a doorstep where you feel someone is in need. Leave Christmas greetings randomly in shopping carts. Take cookies and treats to local businesses around town, librarian, hospital workers. Take a warm drink to a Salvation Army bell ringer.
There's a place in Chambersburg called Tiny Town.. they have lights there and "tiny" house decorated.
Go to the "Little Houses" in Shippensburg. It's free (can leave a donation which we normally do). You walk through a tiny village outside of lighted beautiful houses - some are taller than me, most not. I can get you directions if you're interested.
