I'm becoming a Walgreens shopper! We've never really posted many of their deals because they only have 1 store in our area, but there have been some great deals lately. Walgreens has a rewards system similar to what CVS does. It's called Register Rewards and they print at the end of your receipt when you buy certain items. The main difference between RR (Register Rewards) and ECBs (Extra Care Bucks) is that you can't roll them. You cannot use a register reward you get for buying Huggies to buy another Huggies product that you're going to get a RR for. You can use a RR to buy a different RR deal. As soon as you walk in the door to Walgreens, pick up one of their monthly coupon booklets (they are right by the store flyers)! You can stack these Walgreens coupons with manufacturer coupons for some great deals! You are only supposed to use one Walgreens coupon of the same kind per transaction. FYI - I have couponed at Walgreens before and never had a problem. Tonight I went for a few of the deals...I bought 4 of the Sinex nighttime (they were out of the daytime). I wanted to do 2 different transactions and use my $10 RR from the Vicks towards my 2nd transactions. So ater I paid for the Vicks, my RR didn't print. I questioned her and she said she thought it had to be $20 spent after coupons???Never heard this before, so I questioned that too. She was very friendly and asked a manger who was also friendly. Neither one of them could come up with a reason, so finally the manager scanned 4 Sinex nighttimes and pretended to pay $20 and then the RR printed. He gave me that one and then voided his pretend transaction. Very Wierd that it wouldn't print for me....at least they were friendly about it :-)
