I thought that was a really good deal and those backpacks last forever. I think you can return them for years after you buy them if anything goes wrong with them. Now if only they would have it in blue, then I would get one too!!

Sean, I think it might be a little big for a pre-schooler. I just looked up some backpack sizes on Pottery Barn kids (because I know they actually have a backpack that they call a Pre-school backpack). Anyway, the sizes of the L.L. Bean backpack match the same size that Pottery Barn Kids calls a "Large Backpack."
