Ok, so 99% of the time the catalina deals work on shelf price. I just want to say this since a few weeks ago Judy and I both had a problem and it seems that maybe there was a problem in the system that caused Bounty paper towels to go off of sale price.
Most Weis employees don't realize or understand that catalinas run off of shelf price, so if you have a problem and go to customer service, they will tell you that you didn't spend enough because they will pay attention to the sale price. At this point you either just take the "loss" or return your items. OR...go back and check your receipt against the ad to make sure you didn't accidentally grab something that isn't in the promotion.

Do they count your total bill before or after coupons? I'm assuming after?
before..so just say you're trying to get to $25 and something is on sale for $3, but regular price is $5 and you have $1/1 coupons.
Totally disregard the sale price of $3. Build up to $25 according to the shelf price.
So, you'd buy 5 of the product and you'll reach the $25 needed. But, since they are on sale your total will come to $15, then you have 5 $1/1 coupons, so that brings your total to $10.
Once you pay you'll get the $5 on your next order catalina.
Now...every so often something happens and it doesn't work on the shelf price, but I'll edit the post and explain that!
My kids are going to be so excited to see Toaster Strudels in our house again! ha! They love those awful things, so I buy them ONLY when I can get a super cheap deal. I think this catalina scenario will make for some cheapo Toaster Strudels!
