I did read in the ad that the total amount....say $15 has to met after discounts and coupons before the instant money is subtracted. Is this different than before?
Yes Emily, you read that right!! The ad has never said that before and it sure is disappointing for us couponers. I am curious though if that's been the rule all along and they're just now posting it. I might test it out later this week to see if the cash registers really do keep track of how much you're saving with coupons.
I just noticed I commented under Weis instead of Giant...but you still understood. But that makes me curious too whether it is a new rule...please comment back if you try it out. Thanks!
Emily--from what I understand coupons are NOT affecting the deal, but I haven't been able to try it yet. I'll post on our facebook page and see if anyone else has!
