Weis Coupon Policy

In the past week I've had trouble with coupons at the local Weis stores.  It seems to have come out of nowhere so I did a little research and made some phone calls.

The Weis coupon policy can be read HERE.

They do NOT allow 2 coupons on BOGO items.  They also only allow 4 of the same coupons.  They will still double 4 like, but you can't even USE a 5th one if you have a 5th item.

I have never had this kind of trouble and was a bit surprised when I did last night.  I do have to say it's a bit frustrating on the 4 coupon limit.

If you are able to use more than 4 or able to use 1 per BOGO item, then you got lucky!  If the cashier doesn't allow it then you can't argue :(.

tbh if this is their policy, it may deter shopping even more there. i'm hoping more stores don't follow this trend because several other chains have made such changes since the extreme couponers aired. oh well there is still martins in hagerstown (which i have found to be the friendliest to coupons)

Now that you mention it, about a month ago, I was told I could not use more than 4 like coupons in a transaction. I had the Free Marcal coupons and had 8 rolls of toilet paper and 4- 4 packs.....the cashier told me this but then stated I could use 8 in one transaction since I had 2 different types of items (4 single rolls and 4 4-packs). I had to do the last 4 rolls in another transaciton. It was so silly I thought she was making it up!

That really stinks about the BOGO!!!!

I saw this recently because I looked up the coupon policy for my sister. It's a shame because when the Long Meadow one opened up they were fantastic about ALL coupons!
