Saving Star

Some of you may have noticed a new site mentioned on some other blogs lately.
It's called Saving Star and the way it works is you link it to your savings card for the stores you shop at.
You then add "savings" (like e-coupons) to those cards and when you buy the product you will have the amount of "savings" deposited into your account.  When it reaches $5 you can withdraw.

I didn't mention this site before because I wanted to make sure that it wouldn't interfere with using manufacturers coupons.  Fortunately this isn't an issue and this looks to be another great way to save!

Go HERE to sign up for free and start saving even more!!

I used this last night at Weis and FoodLion. I haven't seen it deposit yet. But maybe it takes a day or so.

I just signed up for Saving Star and I haven't used it yet. Can you use a manufacturer coupon on an item that is also a Saving Star savings to reduce your total out of pocket expense? For example, I have a saving star ecoupon for $0.25 off skinny cow ice cream treat and I also have a manuf. c for $0.55/1 skinny cow. Would I receive $0.25 in my Saving Star account and pay $0.55 less for that one pkg of skinny cow?
