Cover Mate Covers--Review and Giveaway!

I recently had the opportunity to review a set of Cover Mate Food Covers, and i'll have to admit that I wasn't expecting anything too exciting.  I was wrong!  These little things are awesome!!!
When my box came I sat it to the side and went about my day, but that evening I was looking for a lid to match a container so that I could put away leftovers.  I was really frustrated but then remembered the Cover Mates....I grabbed one and viola!  No more searching for that missing lid!
CoverMate Food Covers

The Cover Mate covers come in various sizes that will fit any container, no matter the shape or size!  We often take food along with us when we are visiting friends, and just like in the picture above we have odd-shaped serving plates that don't include covers.  The Cover Mate covers have been perfect for covering the food, and I've even used one on a hot dish straight from the oven!

CoverMate Food CoversThese covers are microwaveable, which is something my husband is thankful for--I am so bad about re-heating food and not covering it up.  The microwave messes have been few and far between since our Cover Mates arrived!  They are also dishwasher safe, but I have found that I prefer to wash them by hand and then let them air dry.
The Cover Mate covers also have 4 vents on each corner (they are actually square!) that allow steam to escape when heating food in the microwave, and these vents also make it easy to steam veggies!

You can go HERE to read FAQ's and learn everything there is to know about Cover Mate covers, or watch the video below.

You can order a sample pack of Cover Mate covers for $3.95, which covers shipping.  You'll also receive a coupon good for $1 off your next purchase.

BUT--we're giving away a FREE 10-count variety pack of Cover Mate covers!!  Just leave a comment on this post and tell us what your favorite summer food is (make sure we know how to contact you) !  For an extra entry you can become a follower of our blog--just leave a separate comment letting us know that you've done this!  This giveaway is open to US residents only and will end at 6pm Tuesday evening!

Thanks to Cover Mate for providing this great product for us to review!

Okay, I love these things too! Guess what I used one for??? You'll never guess...Ha!

I was painting a room and it was getting late and I didn't want to finish what I started, so I just wrapped up my brush in some plastic wrap and put a Cover Mate cover over my the pan I had my paint in. Now obviously it wasn't a regular sized roller pan, but it worked great for what I was doing and my paint was still fresh in the morning :)

It's too hard to pick just one! I like anything we can grill - mainly because then I don't have to cook it! ;)

My favorite summer food is cold watermelon! I also enjoy making potato salad for the days that we grill out.

My favorite summer food would have to be red peppers! I love them all year long, thanks to modern conveniences, but there is nothing like a fresh one out of the garden! So looking forward to that! :-) Also strawberries.

My favorite summer food is corn on the cob with lots of dripping butter and salt all over it. Healthy, I know! But a great steak on the grill and some strawberry shortcake for dessert - they come in a pretty close second!
